The U.S. version of “The Office” is probably my most favorite TV show of all time, so I jumped at the chance to attend a convention to meet five members of the cast of The Office. I decided to do a couple drawings of them ahead of time (although I didn’t have a ton of time), so I chose Angela and Kevin as my first two subjects. Here’s my freehand, colored pencil drawing of Brian Baumgartner as Kevin Malone from “The Office”!
I’m frequently rewatching the series to some degree, so, when it came time to work on this, I’d been wrapping up another viewing in the 9th (and final) season. When I saw Kevin laughing about Angela and Oscar, I just really wanted a laughing Kevin drawing… and I just love the “You can’t eat cats, Kevin” moment, too. Brian asked what quote of his we liked best and I blurted that one out… so he wrote it on the picture. 🙂
