This four-piece freehand colored pencil drawing was done as a commission piece for a fellow fan of the show The Office. In the fourth season episode “The Dinner Party,” you can see a painting that has this imagery on it hanging in Michael’s condo. We later see it again in Jan’s office in the show’s final season.
I drew one of them freehand to use as a sort of stencil, and then used markers as a base for the color, then went over the markers with colored pencil. This one was quite a different project and an unusual challenge for sure!
