Here’s a freehand colored pencil and marker drawing I did of Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn in Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. I love the LOTR movies but had never done a real LOTR themed drawing (I did do a couple Hobbit themed ones, however). I was really happy with how this one turned out, thankfully. But I used marker as a base for certain parts – like his hair and skin – and went over it with colored pencil.
