I’m regularly discontented with my work. And even in instances like this when I attempt to update an older drawing, I’m often still not quite able to get it to where I truly want it.
I had revisited my Jenna Fischer drawing some time before this one, and revisited my Jim drawing before it. And I thought maybe this would be another one to try to improve. I wanted to rework Jenna’s features – especially her smile – and add some more details. The problem is, colored pencil isn’t too forgiving when it comes to erasing it and reworking it. Anyway — I definitely think this is an improvement, but still not totally where I’d like it to be.
