Among the other 2018 sketches I did is this one from January that year of Ashley Johnson. I’d watched the show Blindspot regularly and thought she’d be a good subject to draw.
While these sketches can be fun, loose, and more free… I just don’t like the undercooked look of them. I tend to see them and feel self-conscious that they’re not as finished as they “should” be (not “could” be — should). What are your thoughts on these kinds of looser sketches?
