I still think it’s hard to believe Karen Gillan is under all that make up as Nebula in the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Granted, Doctor Who fans know her as Amy Pond (I’ve never watched the show), but to me she’s Nebula and Ruby Roundhouse from the Jumanji sequels. This was a fun one to do – I drew it freehand in colored pencil and marker.

I did end up taking the opportunity to send the drawing in to a convention that was taking orders for signatures, so I was pretty happy to get it back with Karen’s own signature on it. 🙂
