I’ve said this before, but in case you missed that post (ha!), I tend to search for images of people to find ones that inspire me to draw and sometimes I find more than one image at a time. For people like Mario Cotillard, I ended up doing two new drawings really close together. I liked a more traditional image as well as the sassy one of her biting her finger. For Jessica, I have often found more than a couple at one time that I’d like to draw. This one was unique and interesting, while I knew the other one also would work great as colored pencil on black paper. And while the recent Hayley Atwell drawing was rougher and more like a sketch, I aimed for a more finished drawing here, chasing realism. I drew this picture of Jessica freehand with graphite pencils.
