In case you haven’t read previous posts I’ve written, I tend to keep a folder of images that, at some point, I thought “That might make a good drawing!” so when I just want to start something new on a whim, or I don’t know what to draw, I tend to go there for inspiration. I also tend to draw a lot of the same subjects that interest me. A pretty face is too delightful to draw. Gisele Bundchen has one of those faces, and I definitely enjoy trying to draw her. I feel like she’s a tough one to capture just right, though. This was a freehand graphite drawing I did of Gisele that I set aside and picked up many times over many months while I worked on other drawings.
