After the young/old series I did with Star Wars, I decided that – while rewatching Star Trek: The Next Generation – it might be fun to draw the cast young from the show and older in the final season of Picard, so Riker became the first subject of this new venture. For these, the Picard character is in graphite while the younger version is in colored pencil.
