I had the ever-so-brief pleasure of meeting Michael J. Fox in 2018 at Boston Fan Expo, but it was for a photo op, not an autograph session. At a Philly con, I decided to get him to sign my drawing… but I was disappointed with what happened. After paying way too much, and standing in a really long line, they ushered me into a curtained-off area where Michael was in an assembly-line of sorts. A helper took my drawing from me, and passed it down through a couple series of hands till it got to Michael. I watched as he looked at it, slammed his hand on the table (maybe to help with controlling his Parkinson’s?) and then chose to sign…
…right over the Delorean.
Really, Mike? Of all the places to sign? Oh well…
