I’ve been on a Star Wars kick lately and I realized, while I’ve drawn Luke and Han a couple times, I’ve never drawn Leia. So this was an attempt to draw Leia but not using one of the typical iconic pictures of her. Empire Strikes Back is still my favorite Star Wars movie, so this picture just seemed the right choice. It’s done completely in graphite pencil on Bristol paper. (January 2014)
