As a fan of MacGyver since probably my pre-teens, I jumped at the chance to meet Richard Dean Anderson at a convention in November, 2019. After a weird fire drill almost squashed our attempts to meet him, RDA graciously hung around to meet fans and pose for photos later in the night. He signed my original freehand colored pencil drawing of Season One-era Mac (and I gave him a copy to keep for himself) and he was super kind about the whole thing. I’m super thankful I got the chance to meet him!
