Freehand colored pencil drawing of actress Evangeline Lilly (every artist needs a muse, right?)
Fun fact about this one… thanks to the incredible graciousness of an art shop customer, I was able to get the original version of this drawing signed by Evangeline herself. The customer had purchased by Tauriel drawing (and asked me to color the eyes on that drawing), and offered for me to get something signed by Evie, too. So I sent her this drawing (not sure I’d actually get it back). I also asked if she’d be willing to give Evie the drawing I did of her that she had shared on social media — the one with her hair in her face. The customer graciously obliged. And, a few weeks later, I received back this drawing – now signed by Evangeline – and it was just incredible. It currently hangs framed in the room where I do all of my drawing. 🙂
