Freehand Colored Pencil Drawing of Evangeline Lilly as Wasp (Autographed!)

Another selling point for our trek to Boston was to meet actress Evangeline Lilly — who is most famous for her role as Wasp in Ant-Man and the Wasp and as Kate Austen in the show LOST. Evangeline has also carved out a career for herself as a childrens’ author, with the dark and quirky series, The Squickerwonkers.

As I’d mentioned before, a kind Etsy client had gone to great lengths to get Evie to sign one of my original drawings and mail it back to me last year, but I was ready to jump at the opportunity to meet her and have her sign another one of my drawings. In the wake of the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp, I decided to have her sign my recently completed Wasp piece (although she didn’t write anything beyond her signature, as opposed to last year’s portrait where she wrote some truly kind words 🙂 ).

The drawing was done freehand with colored pencils. It was a fun one to do, too!
